Kathleen Moore is a visual artist and teacher who works primarily in painting and sculpture, including oils, pastels and mixed medium.
Moore is also Development Manager at Gage Academy of Art, a leading community arts school in Seattle, WA.
Kathleen Moore’s interest in nature is a consistent thread through her work. Always a sensitive and observant artist, Moore’s main goal is to convey a sense of the sublime in the natural world while at the same time involving the viewer through engaging points of view.
Moore’s work has been featured in several group exhibitions, including Stitch at South Seattle Community College, Art Revealed at Lynnwood Convention Center, and NPS Member’s Show, Scott Milo Gallery, to name just a few. Moore is the recipient of the “Rose Award” from the Lynnwood Arts Commission’s Seeing Red competition.
Kathleen Moore received her Bachelor’s degree in Art from West Texas A&M University.
